Welcome to BluShock Coalition
(Website currently under development. Updated regularly.)
BluShock. Creating new worlds, creating amazing stories.
Whether you want to explore, enjoy the views or settle down, you will not be disappointed with the amount of choice you have with one of our many worlds. With a narrative driven story, deep lore, dialogue options, consequences, paragon and renegade moments, there is plenty to keep you occupied as you enjoy the story, and as you create your own.
BluShock is a Mass Effect inspired Roleplaying group and world, in the digital and virtual world, of Second Life.
Who are we? We're BluShock. Former elite soldiers. Adventurers, builders, time travellers, explorers & creators of new and uncharted worlds. Our story begins just a few short years ago, before we even dipped our toes in the Star Trek Universe. Our original adventures go as far back as 2010 under the name Normandy SR-1 Group (Mass Effect inspired). Role-playing in a frigate of the same name. In 2013, we saw a slight growth and change to the group during the Citadel era that lasted for two years. A three year break later, we were reunited and formed a new organisation, acquired a new location and became known as the DT-3 Hastings group. The Following year we had yet another entirely new name and became the KT-7 Coalition, pushed our boundaries to the limit and travelled to the Andromeda galaxy. In 2018 and 2019, we created a new way of playing and formed micro companies, which were owned by our new parent company, BlueShift Enterprise. We went even further, beyond time and space, landed in mainland and formed an alliance with the city of Solace. In late 2019, BlueShift was undergoing some changes and thus became its own organisation and operating on a separate server. BluCore was born and was just the beginning of something new, then came BluShock. 2020 and 2021 saw a complete overhaul, revamp, remaster and changed how we did things.
Currently operating in Resilient Station, Baldur.
Work hard, play harder.
Looking to the future
The future is unpredictable. As time progresses, so will the group, environments and everything we do as a team, as a family. Our new adventure has only just begun and it's only going to get better.
Once considered as a bunch of amateur time travellers.
Worlds of new possibilities
Vanargand is a beautiful, cold and icy planet. Fenrir Outpost was our newly made surface outpost and is vast with snow top mountains, some greenery and plentiful of slippery slopes. Opportunity is around every corner and plenty of things to see and do.
BluShock crew are no strangers to colonising uncharted worlds and star systems.
During their BlueShift Enterprise days, the old gang were always ambitious, and always daring to try something new and exciting and time travelling was unheard of. Thus far, each of the planets and moons they've colonised have ended miserably in one way or another. Belus Prime was a hot desert planet, which saw temperatures rise, day by day. It eventually became so hot that the sun became a supernova and exploded, eradicating everything in its path.
Proxima, a Moon was invaded by space cows, that also happened to have taken control of a wild jungle-like planet, Ravix, sucking it dry of its vast riches and resources.
The planet, Ravix, that Proxima was orbiting exploded and soon transformed into a gas giant and BluCore's second attempt to colonise it resulted in a cluster of gas clouds. These events occurred after returning from Earth 219, which was later discovered to be in a cluster of multiverses. Crazy as it sounds, it was true.
Aegis Prime, a lush green planet ended on a high note, when a wormhole decided to come knocking on our front door, destroying the Port BlueShift floating colony. We were knee deep in investigating the wormhole whilst spending some time dodging and evading the crumbling buildings, platforms, exploding shuttles and gods knows what else. Some of the crew made it safely to one of the ships, the Mark 2 Guardian and got off the planet as it came to a bitter end.
That's when things got interesting and for the first time, as the BlueShift crew discovered that the anomaly turned out to be a wormhole and portal to other planets, dimensions and universes and timelines. We were once considered as a bunch of amateur time travellers. Wreaking havoc everywhere they go...Not on purpose, obviously. Soon, BluCore squad found themselves waking up from cryogenic sleep aboard a giant starship, known as the Ascension, which later was discovered that everyone on it was fast asleep for over a thousand years. The plot thickens!
These old stories are in the past. New adventures continue! Our new dreams are becoming a reality as we build new worlds.
